Investment Director – Remote

About the role

We are a Dubai‑based investment firm seeking an experienced Investment Director to lead research and manage the end‑to‑end investment process on a fully remote basis. Reporting to senior leadership, you will enhance our research capabilities, optimise portfolio operations and drive analytical excellence across alternative strategies and direct investments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead due‑diligence efforts by sourcing, screening and evaluating investment opportunities across multiple strategies and geographies.
• Analyse performance, risk metrics, investment processes and team capabilities, maintaining regular contact with managers.
• Coordinate the full due‑diligence lifecycle, manage trackers, and produce comprehensive investment memoranda for senior leadership.
• Monitor macroeconomic data, central‑bank policy and geopolitical developments to assess market implications and develop scenario analyses.
• Distil actionable insights into periodic briefs and recommendations for portfolio positioning.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of professional experience in investment management, research, portfolio management or institutional allocation.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics or a related quantitative discipline.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and complex instruments.
• Strong written communication and project‑management abilities in multi‑stakeholder environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python for investment analysis and portfolio management.
• Experience with Bloomberg and other industry‑standard investment tools.
