Investor Tax Reporting Specialist

About the role

The private markets tax team at LGT Capital Partners is expanding its operational tax capabilities. As an Investor Tax Reporting Specialist you will support German, Swiss and Austrian tax matters for private equity and real estate funds, ensuring accurate reporting to investors and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support for ongoing German tax matters, including tax due diligence, structuring and investor provisions.
• Assist with Swiss and Austrian investor tax reporting.
• Coordinate and review annual tax compliance, working with external advisors and arranging investor reporting.
• Collect information for German annual tax reporting in collaboration with service providers.
• Establish and oversee operational tax procedures and controls.
• Assess changes in international and domestic tax rules and evaluate their impact.
• Manage ad‑hoc tax projects and processes.

Required profile

• Strong academic background – Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master’s in tax, finance or accounting.
• 2‑3 years of hands‑on experience in international tax matters, preferably at a Big 4 or reputable tax consultancy.
• Solid exposure to fund structuring, asset management and investor tax reporting.
• Excellent analytical abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team player, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.

Required skills

• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
