IT Operations Lead – Local Sites (Europe)

About the role

CordenPharma is seeking an IT Operations Lead to own and drive local and decentralized IT services across its European sites in Switzerland, France and Portugal. You will act as a strategic partner to site leadership, ensuring a reliable, compliant and future‑ready IT and OT landscape that supports the company’s pharmaceutical manufacturing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the IT strategy for the assigned sites in alignment with corporate IT and business priorities.
• Advise site leadership on digital transformation, IT/OT roadmaps and technology adoption.
• Harmonise IT systems and processes across sites to increase standardisation, efficiency and compliance with global governance.
• Lead local IT infrastructure, service desk operations and contribute to global IT service‑management processes.
• Manage end‑to‑end IT and OT projects, controlling scope, timelines, budget and quality.
• Develop, coach and lead an international IT team of roughly 16 members and manage external partners and vendors.
• Ensure GxP‑compliant IT systems through validation, change control and periodic reviews.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Management, Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent).
• Proven leadership experience managing IT teams in an international manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT/OT systems and digital landscapes.
• Solid knowledge of GxP environments and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; German, French or Portuguese are a strong plus.
