Junior Corporate Pensions Actuary

About the role

Nestlé is looking for a Junior Corporate Pension Actuary in Vevey, Switzerland, on a hybrid full-time permanent basis. The role supports the evolution of pension plan design, strengthens actuarial governance and ensures reliable pension reporting across the company's global operations, which covers more than 350 pension plans in 80 countries. You will work closely with corporate actuaries, Human Resources teams, local markets, pension funds and external advisers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor key pension metrics and project and report on them monthly
• Contribute to IAS19 calculations for group reporting and actuarial studies such as plan changes, asset-liability management studies and funding valuations
• Help develop standards and guidelines for post-employment benefits and their implementation
• Collaborate with Human Resources, Markets and pension funds on the design and management of pensions
• Support the selection and monitoring of local actuarial consultants, benefit administrators and insurers for risk transfers
• Take part in de-risking projects

Required profile

• Master's degree in actuarial science and practical knowledge of international pension consulting, pension accounting and post-employment benefits
• First experience in actuarial valuations, funding, accounting and financial reporting; asset management and benefit administration exposure is a plus
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt messages to different stakeholders
