Junior Family Office Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Family Office Accountant to join our international financial services organisation in Geneva. You will support day‑to‑day accounting, reconciliations, reporting and year‑end processes for a portfolio of companies and bank accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Record accounting entries for multiple bank accounts and companies, process intercompany and investment transactions, and manage foreign‑exchange revaluations.
• Prepare bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and review incoming invoices and expenses.
• Assist with quarterly funding requests, management accounts, annual budgets, year‑end closing, and audit reporting requirements.
• Maintain organised accounting and corporate administration files and produce ad‑hoc financial analyses and reports.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field obtained in Switzerland or France.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a Family Office, fiduciary, audit firm or similar financial environment.
• Fluent written and spoken French and strong English communication skills.
• Reliable, proactive, able to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, data analysis).
• Experience with accounting and financial software.
• Strong IT aptitude and ability to learn new accounting systems quickly.
