KYC/AML Compliance Officer

About the role

We are seeking a KYC/AML Compliance Officer to join our banking compliance team in Switzerland. The role focuses on verifying client information, managing regulatory risk, and supporting cross‑functional teams to ensure adherence to applicable laws and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive research using internal and external sources to verify client information and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Leverage KYC expertise to provide informed recommendations and promote best practices that strengthen consistency and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and recommend enhanced due diligence measures when required, delivering well‑supported and accurate risk assessments for each client.
• Foster strong collaboration and maintain effective communication with Front Office, Compliance, and Financial Crime teams to support common objectives and drive successful outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in regulatory compliance, KYC/AML requirements, and risk control processes within the Swiss banking and financial services industry.
• Ability to work well under pressure while demonstrating resilience and meticulous attention to detail.
• Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Solid command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
