Lab Technician – Prototype Additive Manufacturing

About the role

Corintis is building an in‑house prototype line for additive manufacturing to speed up design‑rule validation and reduce reliance on external pilot lines. As a Lab Technician you will operate the equipment, generate structured data and bridge R&D with production.

Key responsibilities

• Run additive manufacturing equipment for Design of Experiments (DOE) campaigns and design‑rule validation.
• Reproduce and debug manufacturing issues from the production line.
• Prepare samples, take measurements and capture structured data.
• Operate the laser cutting machine and provide general hands‑on support across the prototype lab.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, procedures and equipment consumables.

Required profile

• 8+ years hands‑on experience with additive manufacturing or a closely related precision manufacturing process in a semi‑production or pilot‑line environment.
• Strong process discipline, ability to reproduce process conditions precisely and methodically.
• Comfortable working independently in a lab, communicating findings clearly in written reports.
• Awareness of EHS, risk assessment basics, chemical storage rules and safe machinery operation.
• Proficiency in English; French is a strong asset for site integration in Lausanne.
