Lawyer – Financial Crime Compliance (Zurich)

About the role

EY is seeking a qualified lawyer to join its Legal & Financial Services practice in Zurich, focusing on financial crime compliance and investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Work on projects at the intersection of business, law and technology, concentrating on financial crime compliance and investigations.
• Advise national and international financial institutions on complex regulatory and financial‑crime matters.
• Deliver pragmatic solutions to evolving compliance challenges.
• Collaborate interdisciplinary in a dynamic environment, building trusted relationships with clients.
• Drive successful delivery of high‑impact compliance projects.

Required profile

• Master's degree in law; admission to the bar and/or additional qualifications (LL.M., dissertation) is a plus.
• Minimum one year of professional experience in financial crime compliance or investigations within a bank, securities dealer, asset manager, insurance company or regulator.
• Strong interest in the financial market and commitment to provide excellent client service.
• Ability to work in teams, entrepreneurial mindset, and enjoyment of interdisciplinary project work.
• Excellent German and English language skills; additional languages are a plus.
