Learning Manager

About the role

The International Institute for Management Development (IMD) seeks a Learning Manager to co‑design, orchestrate and deliver high‑impact learning experiences across its portfolio of open, degree, custom and online programmes. The role supports pedagogical innovation and ensures world‑class learning for current and future clients.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑design learning experiences with Program Directors, the Director of Learning Design and the Client Engagement team, ensuring a consistent learning thread.
• Develop teaching tools, live cases, experiential leadership days and action‑learning projects in collaboration with faculty and clients.
• Blend digital and face‑to‑face formats and continuously improve repeat programmes based on feedback.
• Act as the main point of contact for faculty, clients, speakers, coaches and programme coordinators, managing communication and logistics.
• Lead coaching teams, monitor delivery quality and provide participant support, including grading and evaluation.
• Build and maintain client relationships, offering guidance and support throughout the learning journey.
• Drive pedagogical innovation projects to enhance learning impact.

• Strong collaboration skills with faculty, clients and internal teams.
• Experience in managing large‑scale learning programmes and coaching initiatives.
