Legal Adviser – Investment Team

About the role

You will join the Investment team within Legal PWM, part of Group Legal, providing legal advice and support to the Pictet Wealth Management business line on investment‑related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on PWM services, including advisory, discretionary management and execution‑only mandates.
• Draft client‑facing product documentation for private assets, hedge funds, mutual funds, structured products and derivatives.
• Provide legal input into the development and review of investment products, services and the broader financial offering.
• Analyse cross‑border activities and coordinate with PWM Compliance to establish a robust cross‑border framework.
• Handle complex client complaints and litigation related to investment services and financial instruments.
• Assist internal clients such as trading desks and compliance teams.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments, assess their impact and support implementation of necessary changes.
• Contribute to cross‑functional projects and promote a consistent legal approach within Legal PWM.
• Ensure coordination and alignment of procedures and strategies with other legal departments across the Pictet Group.

Required profile

• Admission to the Swiss bar.
• Relevant experience in Swiss banking and financial law, with exposure to investment products and services, gained within a financial institution and/or a law firm.
• Strong legal analysis and drafting skills, able to provide clear, practical and business‑oriented advice.
• Strong sense of responsibility, discretion and professional ethics.
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across functions and areas of expertise.
• Full professional proficiency in written and spoken French and English.
