Legal Advisor – Direct Real Estate (6‑month maternity cover)

About the role

Pictet Alternative Advisors is seeking a Legal Advisor to cover a six‑month maternity leave within its Direct Real Estate franchise. The position can be based in Geneva or London and will work closely with the Senior Legal Advisor to ensure continuity of legal support across the fund’s activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the review, drafting and negotiation of shareholders’ agreements, financing agreements, lease agreements, SPAs, construction agreements and other real‑estate related documents.
• Support end‑to‑end real‑estate transactions, coordinating legal workstreams, managing negotiations and liaising with internal stakeholders and external advisers.
• Act as a key legal partner on cross‑border matters, providing documentation and execution support in at least three jurisdictions.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal support on asset‑management and project matters, delivering practical solutions while maintaining rigorous standards.
• Lead legal documentation for development, construction and refurbishment projects, preparing and finalising contracts with counterparties.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of post‑qualification experience in the real‑estate department of a reputable law firm.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent numeracy and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages such as French, Spanish, German or Danish are a plus.
• Interest or experience with AI technologies is considered an asset.
