Legal Counsel – Broad In-house Role

About the role

We are seeking a versatile Legal Counsel to join a lean, collaborative legal team within a well‑established, privately owned Swiss group. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will work across the organisation, providing pragmatic, business‑oriented advice and handling a wide range of legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pragmatic, business‑oriented legal advice across the organisation.
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including complex commercial contracts.
• Advise on corporate, real estate, leasing, insurance, finance and marketing matters.
• Support the General Counsel on strategic projects and complex legal issues.
• Offer guidance on data protection and privacy as part of the broader legal remit.
• Contribute to improving legal processes, templates and ways of working, including Legal Tech and AI solutions.

Required profile

• Swiss law degree with approximately 4–7 years of relevant legal experience.
• Swiss Bar admission strongly preferred.
• Experience in both a reputable law firm and an in‑house corporate environment.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills, especially with complex commercial agreements.
• Broad legal expertise and confidence handling matters independently.
• Pragmatic, hands‑on and commercially minded with strong stakeholder skills.
• Interest in data protection, Legal Tech, AI and process optimisation.
• Fluent in German and English; additional languages are an advantage.
