Legal Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Operations Manager to own and build the legal operations function for a fast‑growing SaaS company in Switzerland. You will design the processes, tools and workflows that allow the business to scale while managing contractual risk and ensuring consistent legal support across teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review and support negotiation of commercial agreements such as NDAs, DPAs, SaaS contracts, vendor agreements and security addendums.
• Identify legal, commercial and compliance risks in contract language and coordinate escalation to external counsel when needed.
• Design, implement and maintain legal operations workflows, including contract intake, tracking, approval processes and documentation structures.
• Organise and maintain legal repositories, templates, clauses and playbooks for easy access.
• Coordinate external legal advisors and translate their recommendations into clear guidance for internal stakeholders.
• Support vendor due‑diligence, security and privacy documentation requirements.
• Educate internal teams on legal processes and ensure proper routing of contract requests.

Required profile

• Experience as a paralegal, legal operations professional, contract manager, legal counsel or similar role within a SaaS, technology company or law firm.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, NDAs, DPAs and vendor agreements.
• Proven ability to assess standard agreements and know when to involve external counsel.
• Experience working with external legal counsel and translating legal input into business‑friendly guidance.
