About the role
The Manager, A&R Mexican Music will lead the discovery, signing and development of emerging talent within the Mexican music scene. You will work closely with artists from their first demo through to full releases, aligning creative vision with Warner Music Group’s strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Search for, negotiate with, and sign promising new Mexican music talent.
- Guide artists through songwriting sessions, production, and video recording to create fresh content.
- Build and maintain relationships with producers, songwriters, engineers, and other industry creatives.
- Oversee the quality of recordings and ensure deliverables meet brand standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate artistic projects into broader company initiatives.
Required profile
- Passionate about Mexican music and its cultural trends.
- Forward‑thinking, collaborative mindset with strong communication skills.
- Ability to balance artistic vision with commercial goals.
- Experience in talent scouting, artist development, or related A&R functions.
