Marketing Communications Manager – Europe

About the role

The Marketing Communications Manager, Europe will extend Ecolab's global Purification Technologies (PT) marketing communications strategy across European markets. Working remotely, you will adapt global plans to local regulatory, market, and language requirements to drive qualified lead generation and pipeline growth.

Key responsibilities

• Adapt and implement the annual global PT marketing communications strategy into a European activation plan with clear lead‑generation targets.
• Localise content such as webinars, sell‑sheets, videos and digital ads, and test material efficacy in the market.
• Partner with regional product marketing, commercial and digital teams to ensure consistent messaging and optimal channel selection.
• Provide market insights, customer stories and proof points to shape future global planning cycles.
• Coordinate trade‑show activities, including copy development, visual selection and sponsorship recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience in marketing communications.
• Fluent English with the ability to travel across Europe and occasionally to the U.S.
• Experience in regulated industrial markets (e.g., water treatment, life sciences, cleanroom environments) is preferred.
