About the role
The Next Generation Triggers (NGT) project seeks a motivated communications professional to promote its scientific activities to diverse audiences, from technical stakeholders to the general public. You will join the CERN team responsible for sharing the excitement of NGT across multiple channels.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the NGT strategic communication plan in alignment with CERN IT, openlab, ATLAS, CMS and central communications rules.
- Plan, create and coordinate social media content and campaigns across CERN, ATLAS, CMS and related channels.
- Manage and evolve the NGT website, ensuring high‑quality content, visual identity and user experience.
- Produce publications and visual materials such as reports, brochures and leaflets using professional design tools.
- Act as the communication interface between NGT management, stakeholders and CERN central communication teams.
- Support communication for the CERN STEAM Academy and NGT workshops, including website, digital content and event promotion.
Required profile
- Experience in communicating science, technology and innovation in multicultural or international environments.
- Strong science and technology writing skills, able to translate complex topics for digital and social media.
- Proven experience developing and managing digital content and websites using CMS platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Fluent English, with a commitment to learn French.

- Monthly net stipend of 5,266 CHF (Bachelor) or 5,793 CHF (Master).
