Operations Lead (70-100% Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Lead to oversee and optimise day‑to‑day operations, nurture our company culture and lead a small team in a fully remote, Swiss‑based startup.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the quarterly goal‑setting process and hold KPI owners accountable.
• Oversee all aspects of people operations, from recruitment to off‑boarding.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of eight, including regular one‑on‑ones and performance reviews.
• Run cross‑team initiatives end‑to‑end (e.g., pricing changes, tooling migrations).
• Own the operational cost base, managing vendor/freelancer contracts, tooling spend and budget decisions within set limits.
• Foster company culture and internal communication, organise retreats, run workshops and maintain the handbook.
• Monitor operational performance and flag issues before they become problems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any field).
• Strong analytical and project‑management skills.
• Proven track record in a small company (10‑30 employees).
• German at C2 level and fluent English.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and solve problems in a dynamic environment.
• Strong leadership, management and decision‑making abilities.
• Based in Switzerland with a valid work permit.
