Palantir Foundry Engineer (Zurich/Lausanne)

About the role

Unit8 is looking for a Palantir Foundry Engineer to join its agile project teams in Switzerland. You will design, build, and maintain data solutions on the Foundry platform, helping clients across automotive, chemical, finance, manufacturing and pharma solve real‑world business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deploy and troubleshoot complex data pipelines using open‑source and proprietary technologies, with a focus on Palantir Foundry.
• Ensure data quality through optimisation, testing and tooling.
• Collaborate with software engineers, machine‑learning experts and business stakeholders in a cross‑functional agile environment.
• Participate in multi‑functional teams to experiment, iterate and deliver new product objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience with the Palantir Foundry platform.
• Strong client‑facing skills, comfortable presenting to both technical and business audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 10 % of the time for client and team meetings.

Required skills

• Palantir Foundry – AIP, Workshop, Code Repository, Pipeline Builder.
• Understanding of Foundry security concepts (restricted views, markings).
• Knowledge of Ontology and data connections within Foundry.
• Programming: Python and PySpark.
• Nice‑to‑have: data modelling and basic data‑science concepts (classification, clustering, regression).
