Paralegal & Contract Specialist – Global Legal Team

About the role

We are looking for a Paralegal / Contract Specialist to join Datwyler’s Group Legal department. The role supports legal operations across the global organization, handling contract lifecycle, trademark management and corporate governance while contributing to the digital transformation of the legal function.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and format legal documents for day‑to‑day business.
• Manage the global trademark portfolio, monitor deadlines and coordinate filings with external counsel.
• Assist international subsidiaries with corporate housekeeping and prepare board resolutions.
• Maintain template contracts and standard clauses, ensuring version control.
• Support implementation and operation of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems, including contract registration and reporting.
• Drive digitalisation of the legal department by implementing and managing legal‑tech tools.
• Independently manage the NDA process, administer templates and ensure compliance with internal guidelines.

Required profile

• Completed legal training such as a Paralegal certification, CAS Paralegalism or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in a corporate legal department or law firm is preferred.
• Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Full professional proficiency (C‑level) in German and English.

Required skills

• Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems.
• Familiarity with legal‑tech tools and contract management software.
