Process Engineer Manager

About the role

Kanadevia Inova is looking for a Process Engineer Manager to lead its process engineering team in delivering innovative waste‑to‑value projects. You will be responsible for guiding the team through design, construction and commissioning phases while ensuring compliance with contractual and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the process engineering team and IGLENs throughout project execution.
• Ensure all engineering activities follow the approved tender concept, company policies, guidelines and HSE standards.
• Manage the Process Work Package, delivering quality outputs on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate resources, conduct weekly progress meetings, plan workloads and utilise engineering tools such as COMOS.
• Facilitate communication across the project to resolve technical and organisational issues.
• Prepare and deliver process documentation, operation manuals, CE conformity and B2 documents.
• Lead commissioning activities, including multidisciplinary meetings, process reviews and Fit‑for‑Performance assessments.
• Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned, knowledge sharing and internal training.

Required profile

• Degree in Process, Chemical, Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience leading process engineering teams in plant engineering, construction and commissioning, preferably in the energy sector.
• Knowledge of Energy‑from‑Waste, Renewable Gas or Carbon Capture technologies is a plus.
• Strong project management background with cost awareness and budget control.
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage.
