Procurement Strategy and Transformation Project Lead

About the role

As a Procurement Strategy and Transformation Project Lead you will join a global team that drives strategic projects across all spend categories for Nestlé’s procurement function. You will shape the roadmap from strategy to implementation, creating competitive advantage and delivering measurable business value on a worldwide scale.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic projects for direct, services and indirect materials across all geographic zones and business units.
• Manage a team of 1‑4 direct reports and collaborate with cross‑functional partners to define requirements, set priorities and ensure timely delivery.
• Develop global procurement strategies together with category leaders and generate insights that improve cost efficiency, secure supply and meet sustainability targets.
• Challenge assumptions through benchmarking, propose innovative sourcing solutions and support rollout of new processes and tools.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate progress confidently to senior management.
• Coordinate with procurement teams in Malaysia, Panama and Switzerland to ensure global alignment.

Required profile

• Solid experience in procurement, category management, supply‑chain or consulting.
• Proven ability to operate across multiple countries and regions in a leadership role.
• Strong analytical mindset with business‑analytics capabilities.
