Production Technician – USP Department

About the role

The Production Technician in the USP department operates production tools in compliance with GMP rules. The USP unit handles industrial‑scale cell fermentation, including inoculum in shake‑flasks and single‑use bioreactors, as well as harvest processing via filtration and centrifugation.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and perform IPCs according to GMP.
• Execute production tasks following the defined schedule.
• Participate in zone cleaning and maintenance activities.
• Document quality deviations in quality systems and support investigations.
• Carry out training plans, mentor colleagues, and support batch release activities.
• Perform equipment qualification protocols and contribute to continuous improvement (5S, Gemba).

Required profile

• Technical or scientific training (CFC, Bachelor HES, DUT/BTS) in industrial pharmacy or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a regulated production environment (cGMP).
• Ability to work shifts, including regular weekends.
• Team‑oriented mindset and capacity to work in a highly regulated setting.
