Technician Production DSP

About the role

The Production DSP Technician operates production equipment in a GMP‑compliant environment, supporting the purification of biotechnological products through chromatography, filtration, and UF/DF processes, including viral safety steps. Occasional weekend work may be required.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production tools and perform IPCs according to GMP standards.
• Execute production tasks following the defined schedule and participate in equipment qualification.
• Maintain the production area through cleaning, upkeep, and 5S/Gemba activities.
• Document quality deviations, support investigations, and contribute to batch release activities.
• Provide training to colleagues and act as a role model for timely lot production.

Required profile

• Technical or scientific qualification (CFC, Bachelor HES, DUT/BTS) in industrial pharmacy or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of experience in cGMP production within chemical, pharmaceutical, food, or biotech industries.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including occasional weekends and day shifts.
• Ability to work in a highly regulated, demanding environment and strong team spirit.

Required skills

• Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and current GMP (cGMP) knowledge.
• Experience with chromatography, filtration, and UF/DF purification techniques.
• Equipment operation and qualification procedures.
• Quality documentation and deviation handling.
• 5S methodology and Gemba walk participation.
