Program Consultant – Women’s Peace & Humanitarian Fund

About the role
The Programme Consultant will support the implementation and management of the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) Regular Funding Cycle portfolio, focusing on the Arab States and Sahel regions. Working under the supervision of the Head of the Secretariat and the Program Coordinator, the consultant will ensure effective coordination with UN partners, country offices and civil‑society organisations.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute technically to the design, allocation and management of funding under the Regular Funding Cycle.
- Coordinate Calls for Proposals with country offices, organise information sessions and National Steering Committees, and prepare related documentation.
- Support monitoring, reporting and quality assurance for funded projects across Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Palestine, Syria, Yemen, Burkina Faso, Chad and Niger.
- Provide substantive inputs to advocacy, knowledge‑building, and partnership development for the Fund.
- Manage knowledge‑management services and the Community of Practice for WPHF partners and grantees.
Required profile
- Advanced university degree in international development, peace and security, humanitarian affairs or a related field.
- Proven experience in programme or grant management within UN agencies, NGOs or similar organisations.
- Demonstrated experience working on programmes in Arab States and/or Sahel countries.
- Strong analytical, coordination and reporting skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of the women, peace and security agenda.
