Project Quality Specialist (80‑100%)

About the role

Join Hitachi Energy's international project organization to drive quality across large, complex projects. You will work closely with project teams, customers, suppliers and site organisations to ensure quality requirements are understood, implemented and continuously improved.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, lead and monitor quality‑related project activities, resources, KPIs and deliverables.
• Develop, implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan and ensure compliance with contractual requirements and the ISO 9001‑certified Quality Management System.
• Lead project quality audits, manage non‑conformances, corrective actions, lessons learned and continuous‑improvement activities.
• Coordinate quality requirements for critical equipment, including supplier documentation, Inspection and Test Plans, Master Test Plans and shipment‑release reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or a related field (master’s degree is a plus).
• At least five years of EPC project quality‑management experience in a large, complex organisation, preferably in power, energy, renewable or oil & gas sectors.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001; internal‑auditor certification is advantageous.
• Proficiency in SAP Quality Module and familiarity with project and risk‑management methodologies (PMI, CAPM‑PMI).
