Public Account Manager – Public Sector

About the role

HP is seeking a Public Account Manager to build strong professional relationships with public sector customers, act as a trusted advisor, and drive profitable revenue growth for HP's Personal Systems portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute account plans for multiple public sector accounts, identifying opportunities and aligning HP’s product and solution portfolio.
• Establish deep relationships with client IT organizations, understand their business needs, and act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with pre‑sales specialists and external partners to pursue and lead deal opportunities, ensuring accurate pipeline management.
• Manage quota, comply with sales policies, and respond to public Requests for Proposals as the single point of contact.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in account management, product specialty (computers, printers, servers, storage) or a related field.
• Native or fluent German and English language skills.
