Python Application Engineer – IT Trading Team

About the role

KLANIK is looking for a Python Application Engineer to join its IT Trading Team. You will support users by analysing incidents, fixing problems and delivering new functionalities that meet client needs. The role combines hands‑on support with full‑stack software development in a fast‑moving, technology‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and resolve user‑reported issues on business‑critical applications.
• Design, develop and test new features following specifications, modelling and coding standards.
• Maintain and improve the overall architecture by making informed technical choices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure solutions respect both technical and business constraints.
• Provide 1st‑ or 2nd‑level support for Linux and Windows environments.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands‑on experience supporting business‑critical applications (1st or 2nd level).
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows administration.
• Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate user needs into technical solutions.
