Quality Assurance Associate

About the role

Join the Geneva Quality Assurance (QA) team within the Control Management Organization of a global financial institution. As a Quality Assurance Associate you will execute QA tests, develop expertise on investment products and regulatory requirements, and support client advisors and control functions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute quality assurance tests against established criteria as part of the 1st Line of Defense.
• Develop subject‑matter expertise on investment products, cross‑border activity and related regulations.
• Identify root causes of issues, draw inferences and recommend corrective actions.
• Interact with business partners to provide QA results, analyse disputes, conduct reassessments and manage escalations.
• Participate in discussions with Compliance, Controls, Internal Audit and other stakeholders on risk matters.
• Monitor the control environment for changes impacting QA testing and recommend enhancements.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc projects, targeted reviews and present findings to senior management.
• Proactively highlight potential issues and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in audit, QA, operations, risk & control or similar functions within banks, Big 4 or other financial institutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related field.
• Strong analytical, issue‑resolution and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent time‑management, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, lead a team and adapt to fast‑changing priorities.
