Quality Manager and Process Ambassador – Automation Products

About the role

Siemens is looking for a Quality Manager and Process Ambassador for its Automation Products portfolio, based in Zug, Switzerland. You will define and continuously improve quality across the entire product life cycle of a product line, acting as a value-adding orchestrator who promotes collaboration between Product Owners, Project Management, Supplier Quality Management, Product Development, Manufacturing, Procurement and Logistics. You will also ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate the implementation of built-in quality principles, quality methods and risk management practices, including 8D, root cause analysis, quality gates and FMEA
• Drive continuous improvement, lessons learned and the sharing of best practices to strengthen quality culture
• Coach and train project team members in process application and quality areas
• Act as Process Ambassador: drive process maturity, ensure process adherence and foster harmonized ways of working
• Adapt communication approaches to explain quality topics internally and to external customers
• Analyse customer quality requirements, feedback and satisfaction to support continuous improvement
• Run internal assessments and audits to improve transparency and efficiency in project or product development
• Work with the QM network and business accountable units such as Product Management, R&D, Procurement and Manufacturing

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Extended knowledge of quality management and prevention-oriented quality methods
• Several years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in cross-functional stakeholder management and change management
• Fluent English; a good verbal and written German is desired

Required skills

• Experience in Agile and SAFe development frameworks
• Knowledge of AI applications in Quality Management, including Quality Agent creation, is a plus
