Quantitative Trader / Analyst

About the role

SCRYPT is looking for a mid‑level Quantitative Trader / Analyst to design, build, and run live trading strategies for its Digital Investments business. The role spans crypto and traditional markets, covering market‑neutral, relative‑value, and systematic directional strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Research, design, back‑test, and refine quantitative strategies across funding/basis arbitrage, spot‑perp delta‑neutral, statistical arbitrage, and trend/CTA approaches.
• Own live trading execution, including position sizing, rebalancing, roll management, and venue optimisation across multiple venues and asset classes.
• Develop and monitor real‑time P&L, exposure, and funding‑rate metrics; enforce drawdown, leverage, and concentration limits.
• Translate traditional finance techniques (derivatives, futures basis, rates) into crypto strategy design.
• Produce clear strategy documentation, performance attribution, and risk reports for internal governance and external due‑diligence.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience in quantitative trading, systematic strategy development, or quant research at a fund, prop firm, bank, or crypto‑native desk.
• Demonstrable track record of building or trading specific strategies with real, independently verifiable results.
