Risk Manager – Wealth Management

About the role

Mirabaud, a family-owned bank with over 700 employees in 8 countries, is looking for a Risk Manager within its Risk Control team in the Wealth Management business line, based in Geneva. The role covers second-line-of-defense controls for financial risks and risk reporting for the Bank and Group.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and execute second-line-of-defense controls for financial risks
• Monitor, analyse and report market, liquidity and credit risk exposures across private banking, including complex derivative exposures
• Contribute to risk analysis and monitoring tools, and design and enhance risk models, stress-testing methodologies and limit frameworks aligned with risk appetite
• Keep risk processes aligned with evolving financial regulations, and produce regulatory interest rate risk reports and stress tests
• Assess financial counterparties and monitor their limits, and define and control securities loan-to-value (LTV) limits for Lombard loans
• Ensure risk monitoring and reporting for the Bank and Group, and promote a risk culture

Required profile

• Master in Economics, Finance or equivalent; Financial Risk Manager certification is an asset
• At least 7 years of risk management experience, preferably in private banking, wealth management or asset management
• Very good knowledge of FINMA and Basel regulations
• Fluent French and English; another language is an asset
• Analytical mindset, methodical, rigorous, accurate and stress-resistant
