Sales Assistant (Part‑time, 50%)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer‑focused Sales Assistant to join our Maje boutique in Zurich on a part‑time (50%) basis. You will represent the luxury brand, deliver exceptional service and help create memorable shopping experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalised styling advice and product recommendations to boutique visitors.
• Process sales transactions accurately using point‑of‑sale systems and handle cash and card payments.
• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of Maje collections and communicate key features.
• Assist with visual merchandising and window displays in line with brand guidelines.
• Support the team in keeping the boutique clean, organised and welcoming.
• Handle customer enquiries professionally and resolve concerns efficiently.
• Contribute to sales targets through engaging interactions and upselling.
• Perform stock management duties, including receiving, checking and organising merchandise.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service within a luxury or fashion environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to engage customers.
• Strong numeracy, reliable, punctual and flexible for part‑time schedules.
• Enthusiasm for fashion and genuine interest in the Maje brand.

Required skills

• Experience with point‑of‑sale systems and cash handling.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure during busy periods.
• Desirable: fluency in French and/or German.
• Desirable: previous experience in luxury retail or boutique settings.
