Science Teacher for Middle & High School

About the role

Collège du Léman is seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to deliver engaging science lessons to Middle School (Secondaire) and High School students. The position starts on 13 August 2026 and is full‑time, with the possibility of also serving as a homeroom advisor.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum‑aligned science instruction for Middle School and, where needed, High School Chemistry.
• Promote the school’s mission, values (Respect, Internationalism, Spirit, Excellence) and a caring, inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with grade‑level colleagues to ensure lesson coherence across subjects.
• Assess student work, record grades in the online grade book, and produce timely reports.
• Utilise and develop existing teaching resources and integrate educational technology to enhance learning.
• Support the health, well‑being, and personal development of both day and boarding students.

Required profile

• Relevant science qualification plus a recognized teaching credential; a Master’s in pedagogy is preferred.
• Proven experience teaching Middle and/or High School students in an international setting, preferably with non‑native English speakers.
• Ability to address the needs of students with diagnosed learning differences.
• Experience as a homeroom advisor is an asset.
