Senior Account Manager – Food (Switzerland)

About the role

Planetary is seeking a Senior Account Manager for the Swiss market to drive the commercial growth of its mycoprotein ingredient. Working within the commercial team, you will collaborate with business development and R&D to identify and develop opportunities across retail and foodservice channels.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse consumer and market trends in Switzerland and translate them into product concepts and commercial opportunities.
• Identify growth opportunities using market and customer insights and launch market‑focused products and promotions.
• Develop and execute account plans to increase revenue and strengthen long‑term partnerships.
• Create and present communication materials such as presentations, sales decks and product flyers.
• Collaborate with internal product development, sales and R&D teams to align on product positioning and innovation pipelines.
• Act as the main interface between customers and internal teams to ensure successful product introductions.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in account management within the food sector.
• Proven ability to analyse market trends and turn insights into commercial actions.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams including R&D, product development and sales.
