Senior Business Project Manager - Client Data Management (Hybrid)

About the role

Swiss Re's Client Data Management team within Life & Health Reinsurance is looking for a Senior Business Project Manager (hybrid, 80-100% time) based in Switzerland. You will lead the delivery of the global client data agenda, working with senior business sponsors and cross-functional teams across regions to turn strategy into measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Translate strategic priorities into project scope, milestones, delivery plans and measurable outcomes, with overall delivery oversight across workstreams and regions.
• Plan and prioritise delivery, including resource and capacity requirements.
• Mobilise and coordinate business and technology delivery across the Life & Health value chain, managing dependencies, risks and issues.
• Partner with sponsors, functional leaders and senior stakeholders, and provide concise, decision-ready reporting on progress, risks and trade-offs.
• Drive changes to client data processes, governance, accountabilities and ways of working.
• Work with regional leaders on capacity and capability needs, support resource and funding requests, and manage project financials.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience leading projects and change initiatives, preferably in (re)insurance.
• Strong end-to-end project management experience across business and technology, including planning, governance, risk and dependency management, resource planning and financial management.
• Proven ability to turn strategic direction into execution, even when the path forward is not fully defined.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across functions, regions and seniority levels.
• Experience delivering data and business transformation, including organisational and operating model design and implementation.

Nice to have

• Experience in Life & Health (re)insurance.
• Experience with client data or data-driven business initiatives.
• Project and change management certifications such as PMP, PROSCI or Scrum.

What we offer

• Base salary range of CHF 126,000 to 188,000 for a full-time role, depending on requirements, scope, complexity and the candidate's profile.
