Senior Chemical & Pharmaceutical Construction Coordinator

About the role

Artelia Industrie Suisse SA is looking for a senior coordinator with deep experience in chemical, pharmaceutical or process‑industry projects. Based in the Basel office, you will supervise site construction and installation activities, ensuring projects meet quality, safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project planning, technical validation, procurement, financial follow‑up and quotation preparation.
• Coordinate and supervise construction and equipment installation on site.
• Act as the local contact for customers and ensure compliance with quality, HSE and regulatory requirements.
• Lead internal and external stakeholders, track schedules, costs and progress, and support technical decision‑making.
• Report to the office director on local activity development.

Required profile

• Degree as ES Technician, HES/EPF Engineer or equivalent in mechanical, chemical or related engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of construction supervision, site coordination and project execution in industrial environments, preferably for chemical, pharmaceutical or process industries.
• Strong industrial culture with solid knowledge of piping and equipment installation.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage projects with focus on performance, quality, budget and schedule.
• Fluent German (essential) and French and/or English at B2 level.
