Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager – Corporate Tax

About the role

KPMG is looking for a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager to join its Corporate Tax team in Switzerland. You will work with national and international clients, helping them navigate complex tax issues linked to transactions, restructurings and operational changes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax guidance on mergers & acquisitions, reorganisations, financing, real‑estate and supply‑chain transactions.
• Assist clients with tax compliance, tax accounting and the transformation of tax functions.
• Integrate Swiss and international tax legislation into client analyses and recommendations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary and international teams across KPMG’s service lines.
• Support the development of junior team members and maintain direct communication with clients and tax authorities.

Required profile

• Swiss master’s degree in finance or law, or enrollment in the Swiss Certified Tax Expertise programme.
• 3‑5 years of corporate tax experience in Switzerland within multinational environments, Big 4 firms or fiduciary practices.
• Strong analytical, logical and adaptive abilities, with a focus on finance and accounting.
• Process‑oriented mindset, effective communication and enthusiasm for digital innovation.
• High customer focus, teamwork orientation and dedication.
• Fluent in French and English; German language skills are a plus.
