Senior Data & BI Business Analyst – Finance

About the role

Visium is looking for a Senior Data & BI Business Analyst to join its Finance practice in Barcelona. You will act as the bridge between finance stakeholders and the data engineering team, turning business challenges into clear, actionable analytics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and prioritise finance requirements through stakeholder workshops.
• Produce detailed functional specifications for BI and analytics solutions.
• Define data models and business objects together with Data and Analytics Engineers, applying dimensional modelling (star schema, facts, dimensions, KPIs).
• Support user‑acceptance testing, validation and ensure that delivered solutions meet business needs.
• Maintain data‑governance standards, document business rules and promote data‑quality best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or Business Analysis.
• Recent experience as a Project Manager or Delivery Coordinator on finance‑focused projects.
• Fluent French (mandatory) and professional English.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Barcelona from September.
