Senior Director, Commercial Supply Europe

About the role

As Senior Director, Commercial Supply Europe you will act as the primary supply chain partner to Genmab’s European Commercial organization, translating market demand, launch activities and business insights into robust planning inputs for the corporate S&OP process and ensuring reliable product supply across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main supply‑chain liaison for European Commercial leadership and general managers.
• Consolidate and validate regional demand forecasts, market intelligence, supply risks and planning assumptions for the corporate S&OP process.
• Represent the European region in enterprise planning forums, ensuring regional priorities, risks and opportunities are reflected in decision‑making.
• Partner with Corporate Supply Chain teams to align commercial requirements with supply planning, lifecycle management and distribution.
• Monitor supply performance, inventory health and service risks, leading issue escalation and mitigation to support market continuity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10‑15+ years of progressive supply‑chain experience in biotechnology, biopharma or life‑sciences, including commercial supply, demand planning and S&OP.
• Proven experience partnering with senior commercial leadership and influencing decisions in a highly matrixed environment.
• Experience supporting product launches and commercialization in regulated European markets.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of S&OP/IBP processes and demand‑planning governance.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP/planning systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills using planning data, scenarios and KPIs.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical product lifecycle management and European supply‑chain environments.
