Senior HR Specialist

About the role

Unilabs, the leading medical laboratory diagnostics provider in Switzerland, is seeking an experienced Senior HR Specialist to join its HR team in Dübendorf on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will play a pivotal role in talent acquisition, HR administration, and system coordination, supporting a workforce of around 800 employees.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle (job postings, screening, interviews, coordination with hiring managers, and onboarding) covering 50‑65% of your time.
• Collaborate with managers to define role requirements and ensure effective hiring outcomes.
• Maintain and improve the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Act as the first point of contact for HR‑related administrative questions, handling personnel administration, contracts, amendments, terminations, and reference letters (20‑30%).
• Process applications for child allowances and maternity insurance, keep employee records up‑to‑date, and manage correspondence with employees, external partners, and authorities.
• Serve as Key User for the ATS and related HR processes, train users, and provide troubleshooting support (20%).
• Coordinate with internal IT and Quality departments on HR topics and prepare HR data reports such as headcount and employee statistics.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in HR or Talent Acquisition.
• Experience in medical, life sciences, or healthcare recruitment is a strong plus.
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken); Italian knowledge is a plus.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
