Senior Legal Advisor – In‑House Counsel

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Legal Advisor to act as a trusted legal partner for a fast‑paced international organisation. You will provide commercially practical counsel that supports compliant, efficient and strategic decision‑making across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, ensuring legal accuracy and appropriate risk allocation.
• Support governance structures and provide legal assistance to subsidiaries on operational and strategic matters.
• Maintain and update legal frameworks for B2B and B2C e‑commerce, including General Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policies and consumer‑facing policies.
• Handle global product liability claims, risk assessments and corrective actions.
• Manage intellectual property matters such as patent and trademark filings, portfolio management and enforcement.
• Advise on data‑protection compliance (DSG, GDPR) and collaborate with subsidiaries to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Coordinate corporate secretarial activities and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Oversee relationships with external counsel, manage disputes, transactional matters and corporate development from a legal perspective.
• Supervise contract management systems across subsidiaries, ensuring accessibility and compliance with internal standards.
• Identify, analyse and mitigate legal and regulatory risks for company operations.

Required profile

• Post‑qualification experience in an in‑house legal department, preferably within a multinational sporting goods or consumer products company.
• Legal qualification recognised in at least one jurisdiction and admission to practice.
• Strong commercial judgment, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Proven expertise in commercial contracting, corporate law, compliance, IP and data protection.
