Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

Alpinum Solutions is seeking an Interim Senior Legal Counsel to support the General Counsel of an international ICT company during a period of rapid growth, acquisitions and heightened legal activity across the UK portfolio. The role is fully remote and runs for 4‑6 months, offering the chance to work on high‑impact commercial and M&A matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general legal operations support for the UK portfolio and related group companies.
• Partner with senior management, delivering legal advice on commercial agreements and strategic initiatives.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.
• Drive and support M&A transactions in the UK and Ireland.
• Review public and private tender documentation and assess associated legal and commercial risks.
• Develop and improve contract management processes.
• Support corporate governance activities and build strong relationships with business stakeholders.
• Assist the Aviation portfolio and other international legal operations as required.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with strong UK legal experience.
• 8+ years of experience in an international law firm or in‑house legal department.
• Proven expertise in UK law, M&A and/or public procurement.
• Experience with commercial contracts and supporting international businesses.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of UK law and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong drafting and negotiation capabilities.
• Experience managing M&A transactions and public procurement processes.
• Familiarity with technology, software or SaaS industry legal issues (advantageous).
