About the role
Huawei Europe is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its Zurich team. The role supports the company’s ICT business by providing legal expertise on commercial contracts, regulatory compliance and data protection.
Key responsibilities
- Review and negotiate commercial contracts, including purchase and sales agreements.
- Interpret Swiss law as it applies to daily operations in the ICT and consumer sectors.
- Advise internal stakeholders on compliance matters such as labour law, competition law and trade secrets.
- Handle simple court cases or official investigations.
- Support the Data Protection Officer on GDPR and related data‑privacy issues.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an in‑house counsel or qualified lawyer in a law firm.
- Fluent in English and German.
- Professional, dynamic and highly motivated to work in the ICT sector.
- Proven experience with commercial, technology, regulatory and compliance matters.
