Senior Legal Counsel – Labor & Employment (EMEA)

About the role

VF Corporation is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide pragmatic, business‑oriented legal support across its corporate activities in the EMEA region. Reporting to the Vice President Regional General Counsel, the role is based in Stabio, Switzerland and focuses on labour and employment matters while also covering a broad corporate scope.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute resource plans, coordinating internal expertise and external counsel to optimise legal spend and ROI.
• Continuously monitor legal developments affecting corporate governance, acquisitions, divestitures, finance, real estate, and supply‑chain arrangements.
• Provide strategic legal advice on corporate structuring, M&A integration, ESG, tax and SOX compliance.
• Lead labour and employment governance across the region, creating playbooks, escalation pathways and decision logs in partnership with HR.
• Coordinate and manage external employment counsel to ensure consistent risk management and reporting.

Required profile

• Senior‑level lawyer with extensive experience in corporate and labour & employment law within a multinational environment.
• Proven ability to advise on complex M&A transactions, corporate restructuring and governance matters.
• Strong partnership skills to work closely with HR, finance and business leaders.
• Excellent analytical abilities to translate employment risk into clear business actions.
