Senior Manager, Employment and Reward Tax Services

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Employment and Reward Tax Services within the Workforce Consulting practice in Zürich. The role combines tax expertise with rewards and benefits advisory, helping clients design competitive compensation structures and compliant benefit programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client engagements on employment tax, reward and benefit strategies, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Design and implement total‑reward frameworks, including compensation modelling and benefit package optimisation.
• Provide strategic advice to senior client stakeholders, translating complex tax concepts into actionable recommendations.
• Manage and develop multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
• Ensure adherence to PwC’s technical standards, tax guidance and professional conduct policies.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in employment tax, compensation and benefits consulting, preferably within a professional services firm.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguous situations, make sound judgments and drive results.
• Strong communication skills with the capacity to craft clear, impactful messages for diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership in coaching, mentoring and building high‑performing teams.
