Senior Manager – SAP S/4HANA Technical Transformation & Integration

About the role

Join PwC’s Advisory team in Zurich as a Senior Manager leading SAP S/4HANA technical transformation, integration and Clean Core initiatives. You will guide multinational ERP landscapes, bridging business, functional and technical teams to deliver robust, future‑ready SAP solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end S/4HANA technical assessments, readiness checks, impact analysis, retrofit and risk strategies, test planning and cut‑over support.
• Design and implement integration concepts between SAP and non‑SAP systems (Central Finance, MDG, BW/BW/4HANA, external finance, tax, planning, reporting, CRM) using SLT, SAP CPI, SAP PO, MuleSoft, IDoc, RFC, AIF and related middleware.
• Define Clean Core and extensibility approaches for custom code, RICEFW, Fiori, CDS views, AMDP, ABAP, SAP BTP extensions and code remediation.
• Support finance transformation streams (Record‑to‑Report, Procure‑to‑Pay, Project‑to‑Delivery, tax, group reporting, central payments, reconciliation, financial close).
• Manage global, multidisciplinary delivery teams, establishing code guidelines, quality gates and performance‑tuning practices.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, process owners and functional leads across multiple ERP landscapes and geographies.
• Prototype and assess SAP BTP, SAP Business AI, Joule, automation, analytics and data services for practical transformation use.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA solution design, integration and data replication.
• Proven track record leading large‑scale SAP transformation or upgrade programs.
• Strong advisory skills with senior‑level client interaction.
• Experience managing global delivery teams, including offshore and near‑shore resources.
