Senior People Operations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior People Operations Specialist to lead end‑to‑end HR operations in a fast‑moving, remote‑first environment. You will act as a hands‑on generalist, designing and automating processes that support a globally distributed team across multiple European jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full employee lifecycle, ensuring compliant onboarding, offboarding and day‑to‑day HR processes.
• Support managers and employees with performance management, employee relations and HR queries in a remote setting.
• Coordinate with EOR providers and contractors across Europe, handling payroll‑related workflows and payments.
• Partner with Finance to ensure accurate contractor payments and payroll execution.
• Design, document and continuously improve scalable HR processes, replacing manual tasks with automated solutions.
• Build and maintain People Operations tools and integrations with platforms such as HiBob, Notion, Slack and internal systems.
• Identify and implement AI‑driven automation opportunities to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in People Operations or HR, preferably in tech‑driven startups or scale‑ups.
• Strong knowledge of European employment frameworks, multi‑country workforce management and EOR models.
• Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous, fully remote, async‑first environments.
• High attention to detail, numerical accuracy and a proactive ownership mindset.

Required skills

• Experience with HR platforms such as HiBob.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools like Notion and Slack.
• Comfortable using AI tools for drafting, research and process optimization.
