Stewarding Manager & Instructor

About the role

The Stewarding Manager & Instructor leads both the educational and operational sides of the stewarding department at Les Roches. You will teach and coach students in food safety, sanitation, and hygiene while overseeing the day‑to‑day stewarding operations that support kitchen, service, and event activities.

Key responsibilities

• Teach, supervise and assess students in theoretical and practical stewarding operations.
• Manage daily operations of the Stewarding Department, ensuring cleanliness, safety and efficiency.
• Lead, coach and develop the stewarding team to maintain high performance standards.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, hygiene, health & safety, and chemical handling regulations.
• Coordinate academic schedules with operational needs to align training with industry best practices.

Required profile

• Strong teaching and facilitation abilities.
• Experience in student coaching, assessment and classroom/workshop management.
• Ability to translate operational expertise into effective learning experiences.
• Proven track record in implementing and enforcing health, safety and food‑safety standards.
• Experience working in an international, multicultural environment.
• Fluent in French and English.
