Strategy Specialist - Group Strategy

About the role

Join Julius Baer’s Group Strategy Team to support the Group CEO and Executive Board in shaping the company’s future. You will translate strategic ambition into clear priorities, actionable plans, and measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Drive development and implementation of the Group’s long‑term strategic direction and align programmes across the organisation.
• Lead high‑visibility, Group‑level strategic initiatives, providing analysis and recommendations.
• Conduct market, competitor and internal analyses to inform decision‑making and the corporate strategy process.
• Design and deliver strategic projects from concept to implementation.
• Support the strategic cycle, including preparation for strategy offsites and results presentations.
• Collaborate with Front, Finance, COO, Communications and other internal teams to ensure strong delivery and alignment.

Required profile

• Top‑tier university education, preferably in corporate strategy, finance or structured problem solving.
• 3–6 years of experience at a leading strategy consultancy or in‑house strategy/corporate development, ideally in financial services.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership, initiative and execution focus.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and generate impact in a team environment.

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to simplify complexity for senior audiences.
• Strong problem‑solving capabilities and strategic thinking.
• Proficiency in English; German is an advantage.
