Supplier Sustainability Specialist – EMEA

About the role

Join a leading specialty chemicals company to drive sustainability across the EMEA supply chain. You will ensure compliance with ESG regulations, support low‑carbon sourcing, and act as the key liaison between procurement, suppliers, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and continuously improve supply‑chain due diligence and sustainability compliance for EMEA.
• Monitor procurement compliance with EU sustainability regulations and standards.
• Assess, track, validate, and report supplier ESG performance data.
• Maintain and enhance sustainability dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools.
• Coordinate communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders on sustainability topics.
• Support supplier engagement, corrective actions, and data‑collection activities.
• Contribute to carbon data collection, Scope 3 emissions, and product carbon‑footprint initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for low‑carbon materials and responsible sourcing.
• Participate in group sustainability initiatives and continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Experience in sustainability, ESG, or supply‑chain management.
• Strong project‑management and stakeholder‑coordination abilities.
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Proactive, structured, and self‑driven working style.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Team player capable of collaborating across functions and regions.
• Familiarity with GHG accounting or Scope 3 reporting is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Power BI.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
